Building Parity Appeal

As you can see from the title we have now a name for our Capital Appeal. “Building Parity Appeal” the brain child of volunteer Trissy Norris. Many thanks to Trissy and all those who took the time out to put pen to paper, it was a valuable exercise for us all and the results were very varied and thought provoking.  As always it is a difficult decision to decide whose entry to choose as the winner, but we finally found common ground around the successful entry.

We are aiming to have the official launch for our Appeal by this coming April, the exact date will be announced when the final arrangements for buying the land for the new day centre are completed. We already have planning approval for the new centre so the final hurdle is sorting out the land issue. Then we launch the appeal.

Although we are not likely to go to the public stage of our fundraising efforts for a couple of years or more, we do need to start giving some thought to the shape this phase will take.  It is clear that it should be fun and challenging, so let us know if you have any ideas on the types of events we could be planning to run. We will have a good deal of money to raise during this phase but the sum we need should be clearer nearer the time.
